Pre-Growth
Services
Pre-Growth Services is a strategic analysis of a business to determine
the feasibility for expanded operations. We
conduct a detailed analysis of the existing business.
We review existing operations to assess readiness for expansion.
Then, we review the company’s financial structure to determine how it
can finance expansion.
Next we prepare a comprehensive business plan that includes the expansion
strategy, the company’s strengths and weaknesses, the steps to be taken to
overcome weaknesses, a competitive analysis and the financial requirements to
execute the expansion strategy. Detailed financial models support the expansion
plan.
If needed, we can assist in any part of the financing process from
locating sources, to business plan presentation, to negotiating terms, and to
structuring the debt or equity agreements.
Multiple-Unit
Growth
Development
Following pre-growth work, we develop a market penetration strategy.
This results in a detailed roll out plan defining all of the steps, the
order of execution and time lines for completion.
At your direction, we provide implementation management services and can
source outside professionals to create or modify operations manuals, training
systems, point-of-sale systems, store or other delivery systems, and business
graphics.
We can also direct the creation of a marketing plan.
As needed, we source outside marketing professionals and coordinate their
activities to achieve the execution strategy.
Franchise
Development
If you consider franchising as a method to expand your business we
provide additional services to those described above for company-owned
expansion. There are two critical
elements in this process. We
determine your temperament to expand with franchise partners.
Next we determine if both the franchisee and you can make money.
This results in financial models for both you and the franchisee.
If these models display sufficient profitability and we believe you have
the temperament to work within a franchise framework, we recommend franchising
as a method to expand.
We then develop the franchise sales methodology, the market penetration
strategy and finish with a detailed roll out plan for execution. In addition to the implementation services described above, we
provide implementation services in the areas of legal compliance, franchise
sales strategy and franchisee financing.
