Our client's ethnic background made it difficult for him to quickly accept franchise prospects. As a result, he abandoned his franchise growth plan, but continued to develop a total of ten company owned operations. We continued to serve this client until 2002 in an advisory capacity on a retained basis. We helped him negotiate lease renewals, make lease vs. abandon decisions, review operations and make operational changes to improve daily operations. We frequently explored alternatives to expansion within major malls. We provided a sounding board service and work on specific projects within the framework of our advisory capacity.
